Q. How long can I have the costume for?
A. Weekend hires are generally pick up
Friday or Saturday and return Monday. Weekday hires can be
picked up the day before and returned the day after your function.
Q.Do I have to get the costume cleaned?
A. No. We do all the cleaning here. Some of the
costumes require specialist cleaning and throwing
them into your washing machine at home could be disastrous.
Q. What does the security deposit cover?
A. The security deposit (usually a credit card imprint),
covers damage and late fees ($10 per day). It is NOT the purchase price
of the costume and does not entitle you to keep the costume.
Q. A button fell off. Have I lost my security deposit?
A. No. We understand fair wear and tear. A lost button or a
split seam is just one of those things that happens sometimes
and we don't penalise you for that. However, costumes returned
in a severely dirty, torn or obviously abused condition, will
have the security deposit or part thereof forfeited.
Q. Who decides what is fair wear and tear?
A. We do!
